I am interested in how the material, tangible, representational aspects of the work are informed by subtext which are discoverable by degrees, but, which are only slowly being formulated beyond an abstract feeling. I'm drawn to the tension between what is seen and what is felt, between surface and depth, where images become vessels for something less easily named.
